Position Summary

Program Type: AmeriCorps VISTA

Program: Community Engagement Coordinator AFVN

Program Start/End Date: 01/18/2022 – 01/17/2023

Work Schedule: Full-time

Education Level: College graduate

Age Requirement: Minimum 18

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will educate and build community partnerships to leverage resources that will further Community Tampa Bay’s mission to cultivate inclusive leaders and change communities through dialogue and cross-cultural interactions. 75% of the youth we serve receive free or reduced lunch. As our volunteers reflect on the youth we serve, the VISTA Member will actively recruit and train volunteers from traditionally underserved communities, including communities living in poverty. Additionally, both the youth participants and volunteers involved in our programs are actively trained to work toward eliminating poverty, working toward our vision of a community free from discrimination.
