Dre’ joined the CTB fam during the summer of 2018 as an ANYTOWN Volunteer and has been in love with the mission, vision, and values of the organization ever since. Upon graduating from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg in Fall of 2018 where he studied Psychology, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship; Dre’ acquired the opportunity to serve full time as the CTB Program Specialist starting February of 2019. While at USF St. Petersburg he participated in a plethora of leadership positions and activities including serving as an Orientation Leader, Peer Coach Mentor, Navigator Tour Guide, Founding President of The Herd Step Team, Gospel Choir singer, Student Experience Team Member, Spectrum Multicultural Institute Mentor, and a University Diversity Trainer.

Dre’ joins us with an array of diverse skill sets, leadership qualities, special talents, a vibrant personality and a beautiful smile. Some personal values that Dre’ strives to express include self-development, authenticity, academic success especially for persons of color, participating in social justice movements, and community service. Fun facts about Dre’ include he played the bagpipes for 4 years, he sang backup for a national recording artist, he is the 2017 USF St. Petersburg Homecoming King, and he earned an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma while attending Lake Wales High School. Dre’ lives his life by his favorite Robert Tew quote and shares it whenever he can: “Strength of a character is not always about how much you can handle before you break. It is also about how much you can handle after you have been broken.”
