Sarah strives to live her life in accordance with her values of authenticity, interdependence and boldness. She joined the Community Tampa Bay family in 2002 as an ANYTOWN delegate. Over the subsequent eight years, she continued her involvement with CTB while running a feminist club in college and spending time in Ghana and Rwanda. After completing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Florida State University in 2010, Sarah became a full-time staff member, serving as our Programs Specialist for the three years. In fall 2014, she became the organization’s Program Director. Sarah is passionate about maximizing youth voice in ending all forms of discrimination. She is a former Fellow and current Board member of New Leaders Council – Tampa Bay, an organization for young, progressive professionals. Sarah loves fall when she can watch all the NFL football. She also enjoys yoga and spending time with her family, including her two young nephews.
