Community Tampa Bay exercises rigorous fiscal controls
over the organization’s operations and programs. A detailed
budget is elaborated before the start of our fiscal year (September
1 – August 31) and approved by the Board of Directors.
Best practice “Financial Policies and Procedures”
guide the Executive Director, the Treasurer and the Finance Committee
as they review the budget regularly throughout the year and ensure
it is implemented responsibly and in keeping with
the organization’s mission.
Community Tampa Bay’s Board
of Directors exercises fiduciary control over
the use of all funds. External financial audits
