Community Tampa Bay receives special recognition from City
of St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker for contributing to making
St. Petersburg one of the “100 Best Communities for Young
People” (2005).

An independent study conducted by Dr. Eileen Lyons for the
University of South Florida, demonstrates that Anytown graduates
show significantly greater acceptance of diversity and social
competence, and dedicate more time to community service when
compared to a peer-group that did not attend the program (2005).

cited as a “Best Practice” by the U.S. Department
of Education (1999).

in “One America,” the President’s Commission
on Race Relations (1998).

the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (1996).
