Mission
Community Tampa Bay promotes dialogue among all cultures, religions
and races through education, advocacy and conflict mediation.
Vision
Community Tampa Bay envisions a community free from all forms of
discrimination, in which every individual is treated with dignity
and respect.
Leadership and governance
Community Tampa Bay is managed on a day-to-day basis by its Executive
Director. The Board of Directors
provides strategic governance, oversight and assistance with fund
development.
History
The National Conference for Community and Justice was founded in
New York in 1927. The Tampa Bay Region was born in 1949. In 2005,
the regional chapter became an independent not-for-profit corporation
and was renamed Community Tampa Bay. For more historical milestones,

Programs and services
Community Tampa Bay’s program and services equip individuals,
groups and organizations with the skills and knowledge necessary
to become socially responsible citizens, advocates for inclusion
and role models in their environment.
The experiential techniques and strategies utilized can be effectively
applied in a variety of settings, including schools, government,
business, non-profit and social service, and interfaith and religious
communities.
