Funding from the Rays will provide support for the Anytown program beginning in Summer 2009. Board members, staff, volunteers and Anytown graduates were at Tropicana Field to celebrate the award. “Being sponsored by the Rays Baseball Foundation is an exciting opportunity for Community Tampa Bay” said Executive Director Stacie Blake. “Given the diversity of the Tampa Bay Rays roster and staff, where at least seven countries and 12 states are represented, this partnership will concretely demonstrate to youth across the Bay, the need for inclusiveness and respect to achieve success in life, sports and business.”
