Teddy
Pierre (Chair) joined the Community Tampa Bay Board when the organization was still the National Conference for Community and Justice in 2001. He is the President of The Pascall Company, a human resources consulting firm specializing in diversity consulting and recruitment. A father of two daughters, Teddy cares deeply about youth leadership and respect for multiculturalism. |

John
Dunn (Vice-Chair) is the Director of Communications at Tampa
General Hospital. A native of New York City, he moved
here in 1980. He became interested in NCCJ while working
in the City of Tampa Mayor's Office and seeing the systemic
discrimination in so many facets of daily life. John is
currently completing a bachelor's degree in history at
USF. |

Lance
Lansrud (Treasurer) joined the Community Tampa
Bay (NCCJ) Board of Directors in 2003 and currently serves
as the Treasurer. A Realtor with Florida Executive Realty
in South Tampa, Lance loves his community and is passionate
about making the Tampa Bay area the best it can be. Lance
is also a graduate of the Anytown program. |

| Susan
Zucker (Secretary) is the Director of Technology and Distance
Education at Stetson University College of Law and Adjunct
Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida.
Originally from New York State, Susan holds a Ph.D. as
well as an advanced degree in Instructional Technology. |

Jim
Albright ( Past Chair) has been involved with Community
Tampa Bay (NCCJ) since 1981, first in Greensboro, NC,
and since 1987 in Tampa Bay, where he was the CEO of
Bayfront Medical Center. He served on the Board until
1995 when he returned to North Carolina to be the CEO
of Rex Healthcare, a large healthcare system in Raleigh.
Since 2000 Jim has been semi-retired and the President
of Albright and Associates, LLC, a family owned limited
partnership healthcare consulting company. He returned
to the NCCJ Tampa Bay Board in 2001 and served as
Chair from 2002 to 2007. He graduated from Hobart and Duke
and did post graduate studies at Harvard University. |

| Marina
Choundas is a business law and tax attorney with
the Tampa office of Foley & Lardner LLP, having moved
back here after going to law school and working at a law
firm in New York City. She received her undergraduate
and master’s degrees in accounting from USF, has
a CPA and is fluent in Spanish and Greek. Marina joined
the Community Tampa Bay (NCCJ) Board in 2003. As the daughter
of immigrant parents (Cuba/Greece), Marina believes in
promoting tolerance and diversity in our world today. |

Shahid
Din was with Baxter Health Care for 20 years,
where he was the Director of Research and Development
for artificial organs. He currently heads up the Tamarind
Group LLC, a company that develops medical products. Shahid
Din holds a degree in electronic engineering from Southern
Illinois University. Of Pakistani origin, Shahid was born
and raised in East Africa and fluently speaks Urdu, Swahili,
and Punjabi. He has been a Pinellas County resident since
1979. |

Tanya Easterling is Senior Manager, Public Affairs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF). In this role, Tanya is responsible for developing and leading public affairs strategies in key market areas to address the company’s business goals aimed at improving relationships with key stakeholders, increasing the company’s presence and reaching out to diverse markets. Tanya has worked with the National Conference for Community and Justice, Chick-fil-A, Target Corporation, and Walt Disney World. She has worked in a variety of roles including Diversity, Community Relations and Public Affairs. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Central Florida. Tanya’s expertise covers intervention, issue specific program design, conflict resolution, community relations, and cultural collaboration building. |

Cindy
Goldman is a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase
where she manages the ACH Implementation team. She was
the Diversity Chairperson for the Highland Oaks facility
and worked with NCCJ to help bring about an understanding
of the importance of diversity as a business case. She
came to the Tampa Bay area in 1985 from New York and has
been involved with the board of Community Tampa Bay since
2004. |

| Joseph
Jackson is Vice-President of Outback Steakhouse,
Inc. where he is responsible for Operations Management
and Inclusion Training. He moved here six years ago from
San Antonio, Texas. Joseph has a Bachelor of Science from
the University of Houston Hotel and Restaurant Management
School. His way of looking at the world changed during
a training sponsored by NCCJ, leading Joseph to become
involved with NCCJ in 2002 to advocate for diversity,
community and justice. Outback Steakhouse contributed
to making the annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner a success as
an underwriter. |

| Linda
Lerner moved to Pinellas County in 1975 from
New York City where she was an exceptional education teacher.
She helped found Resource Center for Women and was Director
of Education Support there for 10 years. She has been
a member of the Pinellas County School Board since 1990.
She previously served many years on the NCCJ Board and
was Chair of the Board in 1994. |

| Mark Sena is president and managing partner of MediaSphere Partners, LLC (“MediaSphere”), a business advisory, development and investment company specializing in media and communications, and is president of Mars Communications, Inc., a wireless broadband spectrum leasing company. Mark formed MediaSphere after being employed for 21 years at Communications Equity Associates, LLC (“CEA”). During his term at CEA, Mark initiated and led the firm’s international expansion efforts, first in the Caribbean and later in Europe and Latin America. He has worked in more than 25 countries and completed many of CEA’s first investment banking transactions overseas in the sectors of cable TV, broadcast TV and radio, wireless, programming, publishing and telecommunications. Mark attended college at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where he received a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees. He is married to Linda Saul-Sena, who is a member of the Tampa City Council and has two teenage daughters |

David Sobelman is Vice President of Calkain Companies, a national commercial real estate firm. Additionally, David and his wife, Tanner, are the founders and directors of the Wellspring Foundation, which provides an outlet for children to experience new cultures, religions, races and nationalities, with the desire to have a lasting effect on their consciousness and make them more productive and insightful adults. David has a background in public service and government as he was appointed to several positions within the Executive Branch of the Federal Government; including The White House. David received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and is a native of Sarasota, FL. |

Scott Taylor
is the owner and principal of The Taylor Company (www.taylorcompany-fl.com),
a Tampa, Florida-based public relations consultancy that specializes
in communications for non-profit, government and community-based
organizations. Mr. Taylor is a seasoned communications professional
with a diverse background. In his career, he has counseled small
non-profits to the world's largest corporations. Prior to moving
to Tampa, he held supervisory positions with some of the country’s
leading public relations firms in Washington, D.C., New York
and Los Angeles. Originally from Florida, Mr. Taylor graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington, D.C.’s
American University’s School of International Service,
with a second major in International Business. |

Rick
Weinberg (Secretary) is a licensed psychologist
and directs a pre-doctoral psychology internship and teaches
two graduate courses at the Florida Institute for Mental
Health at USF. He also has a part-time therapy practice
for families, adults, and adolescents. His academic interests
and personal commitments reflect a strong belief in social
justice and social responsibility. Rick has served on
the Community Tampa Bay Board since 1998. |

Natasha Ghent-Rodriguez is a RelationshipManagerforUnited Way of Tampa Bay’s Government and Non-Profit partnerships. She first became involved with Community Tampa Bay (NCCJ) in high school. Now as a Young Professional, her earlier experiences with NCCJ inspired her work on Tolerance & Dialogue at the United Nations. Natasha believes that tolerance & dialogue are essential to our community, and key to building an inclusive society strengthened by its diversity. |

Manuela Muñoz-Alvarez moved from Medellin, Colombia, to Tampa in 2000. She graduated from Community Tampa Bay’s Anytown program in 2005 and has returned as a volunteer every year since. Currently, Manuela participates in Community Tampa Bay’s Hillsborough Youth Collaborative (HYC) program, a partnership with the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. Manuela is a high school senior at Plant High School. Her goal is to become an educator as she enjoys working with kids and young teens. Manuela is fluent in Spanish and English and she embraces both cultures in the dream of helping create more inclusive communities. |
